Colum Kenny has designed and delivered a range of innovative journalism and communications modules.

Awarded a DCU Teaching and Learning Fellowship
in respect of the interdisciplinary study of belief and communication. 

His research interests include broadcasting, journalism, culture and history.

In April 2008, he was appointed to the Advisory Group on Media Mergers
at the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment. 

A former employee of RTÉ, and member of the Broadcasting Commission of Ireland (1998-2003).
 Member of the Irish Bar and of the National Union of Journalists.
